Let failure launch you into something new and lead you to find your voice. Don't waste your failures but use them to better yourself and land on something you are truly passionate about in places you least expect!
Make sure you STAND OUT and tell your story about your PERSONALITY in your resume. Use the “personal interests” section to tell the recruiter/hiring manager something unique and “quirky” about yourself. Make an impression. What PASSIONS and PURSUITS do you have outside of work... that “no-one” else in the world has!
You’ve heard that a resume should be your story. Well, how would you tell your story to a friend? Would you use humongous words and run-on sentences... er, do you want to keep the friendship or not!? Talk to yourself, and in laymen’s terms describe what you did for each role. Record yourself, then playback and listen. It will be casual... but that’s how a story should be! Now find a way to translate that into language that’s suitable for your resume.
What Writing your resume can be a daunting task, with all the effort and brain-power necessary. But much like boxing, you need to persevere, keep forging ahead and keep story-telling! All that effort will pay off when you finally produce a solid resume that you're proud of... and will land you JOBS!
Whether you're job-searching, working on your resume, prepping for an interview, etc., step outside and find a new environment to do it every so often! A change in environment can be refreshing to the mind, and stimulate creativity!

Over the past 10 years, I've reviewed hundreds of resumes.. many have felt 'flat', lacking context and vitality. The resume is often an underestimated part of your career journey and is supposed to be your 'autobiography' so that the reader can get to know who you are and what you're about, even before meeting you.
